- Run discovery with clients to pin down goals, data sources and what success looks like
- Map full architectures covering ingestion, modelling, warehousing, transformation and reporting
- Write design documents, diagrams and roadmaps that non-technical readers can follow
- Manage a team: staffing, workload, performance, and mentoring on architecture practice
- Help with pre-sales scoping, effort estimates and RFP responses

- Hands-on work on at least one major cloud data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong SQL and knowledge of modelling approaches like dimensional or data vault
- Degree in computer science, information systems or similar, or equal experience
- Willing to travel to client sites when an engagement needs it
