The role blends leadership of financial support for operational project teams with month-end close work covering revenue recognition, forecasting and variance analysis.
What you will do
- Manage, mentor and train financial analysts supporting project finance
- Design and implement project financial processes that improve efficiency and reporting
- Deliver monthly financial metrics to senior finance leadership
- Align with intercompany finance teams on budgets, revenue, backlog and agreements
- Support project teams on the financial aspects of running clinical trials
- Lead financial input at client quarterly business reviews and project reviews
What they look for
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related business field
- At least eight years of project finance experience, including budgets, Earned Value Analysis and contract review
- Direct experience working with sponsors
- Clinical research organisation industry experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally to sponsor sites and local offices
