Own the accounts payable cycle and support reconciliations, month-end close and general accounting for a US-based supplement company, working from the Philippines.

What you will do
- Handle the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment
- Monitor the AP inbox and check invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals and documentation
- Resolve vendor discrepancies and maintain accurate vendor records
- Prepare weekly AP aging and keep audit-ready documentation, including support for annual 1099 filing
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and reconcile employee card transactions and expenses
- Assist with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals and prepaid expenses
What they look for
- At least three years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience supporting US-based companies and solid knowledge of US GAAP
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong accounts payable and general ledger knowledge
- Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations and month-end close
- Excellent written and spoken English
Nice to have
- CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting credentials
- CMA credentials
- Strong US accounting experience
