Strategic Project Lead, Finance Expertise

About the role

Lead complex finance-focused projects that support AI organisations and data-intensive initiatives. The role blends finance domain knowledge with end-to-end project delivery and stakeholder communication.

What you will do

• Own projects from scoping through execution and final delivery
• Turn customer needs into structured plans and finance workflow specifications
• Design workflows for financial analysis, modelling, investment, accounting and similar data tasks
• Coordinate finance and operations experts and manage review, annotation and evaluation processes
• Set data quality and review procedures and remove delivery bottlenecks
• Keep senior stakeholders informed on scope, quality, timing, progress and risk

What they look for

• Two or more years leading complex projects, operational workflows or finance initiatives
• Proven ability to take projects from ambiguity to delivery
• Strong project management, execution and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating cross-functional or expert teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication and close attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with financial modelling, investment analysis, markets or accounting workflows
• Background in technical or data-intensive projects
• Familiarity with data pipelines, AI or ML organisations, annotation, evaluation or human-in-the-loop systems
