The role implements, configures and supports several software platforms and HL7 interfaces, keeping systems reliable and customers satisfied within set budgets and timelines.
What you will do
- Deploy, configure and support software for transplant, medication and patient management
- Diagnose and fix problems involving operating systems, SQL and Oracle databases and application interfaces
- Set up remote connectivity and VPN access for customer sites
- Advise customers on software and hardware needs before deployment and follow up on support
What they look for
- At least two years in system engineering, implementation and automation
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and manage Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Experience with SAP Crystal Reports and troubleshooting software interfaces
- Availability for on-call duty one week each month
Nice to have
- Biomedical systems engineering experience
- Familiarity with IIS web services and website management
- Knowledge of Python, C++ or JavaScript
- Experience with data conversions and network administration
