What you will do

• Coordinate the third party risk team, covering workload distribution, priorities, capacity, quality and deadlines
• Coach and develop staff through clear expectations, regular feedback and knowledge sharing
• Quality assure lifecycle risk work such as screening, due diligence, assessments, remediation and monitoring
• Advise on and challenge complex or high impact third party risk questions
• Track findings, control gaps, remediation actions and escalations until they are resolved
• Improve risk frameworks, processes, controls, methods, tools and reporting, and support resilience and exit planning

What they look for

• Five or more years in third party, outsourcing, vendor or operational risk, compliance or similar, ideally in financial services
• Experience leading or supervising teams or workstreams, including allocation, quality checks, coaching and performance reviews
• Solid grasp of regulatory rules on third party and outsourcing risk
• Practical work with due diligence, risk assessment, remediation, monitoring, continuity, exit planning or resilience
• Track record of developing or refining risk frameworks, controls, methods and management reporting
• Strong leadership, analysis and critical thinking, with sound judgement and constructive challenge
