Territory Account Manager, Federal Sales

About the role

A federal territory sales role building and growing business with defense-related agencies through direct and channel selling.

What you will do

• Find, qualify and develop new business by prospecting and networking
• Manage the territory pipeline and target key accounts and vertical markets
• Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets and provide forecasts
• Oversee day-to-day work of inside sales reps and sales engineers in the region
• Track competitor and market intelligence and share findings with executives

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree plus at least ten years of sales experience
• Credibility and experience selling to C-level executives
• Technical understanding that can be tied to business value
• Consultative approach when presenting ideas and products
• Excellent spoken and written communication
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM
