UX Designer

About the role

Design intuitive and engaging player experiences for games, from wireframes and prototypes to interfaces and player flows. The role blends user research with close collaboration with developers and product stakeholders.

What you will do

• Produce wireframes, prototypes and visual designs that show how game features work
• Shape and refine game mechanics, player journeys and interface layouts
• Run player research to learn what users need and prefer
• Improve designs iteratively using feedback and data insights
• Coordinate with developers so the experience is built to a high standard
• Help set and uphold the studio's design standards and stay current with trends

What they look for

• Three or more years as a UI/UX designer in the games industry
• A portfolio showing at least one shipped mobile title and one shipped PC title
• Hands-on skill with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools
• Knowledge of game design principles and building game interfaces in an engine
• A bachelor's degree in user experience, graphic design or a similar field

Nice to have

• Usability testing and data analysis skills that work even without supporting materials
• A broad generalist background in game design
• Prior work on casual games
