VP, Business Development

About the role

A senior commercial leader owns the strategy, growth and revenue results of an independent software vendor partner ecosystem. The role leads a team that recruits, enables and co-sells with partners whose products extend the core platform.

What you will do

• Own the go-to-market strategy, revenue targets and expansion roadmap for the partner ecosystem
• Work with internal sales and channel teams to generate new opportunities and raise joint customer value
• Design programs and execution plans for each ecosystem and track KPIs and joint business plans
• Negotiate and onboard strategic partners that fill product gaps and open new vertical markets
• Act as executive sponsor for key partner relationships and represent the company at industry events

What they look for

• Proven leadership as a business development leader at an ERP company or as a quota carrying sales executive in a complex professional servic
• Track record of building successful business functions in SMB or lower mid-market ERP
• Demonstrated history of driving year over year growth
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external, technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally about one fifth of the time
