Account Development Manager

About the role

Inside sales role focused on raising market awareness, generating leads and growing the customer base for a contract research organisation. The manager works closely with business development colleagues to reach annual targets.

What you will do

• Generate new leads and arrange meetings with clients that outsource research work
• Partner with business development on territory plans and account ownership
• Identify and qualify prospective accounts using data sources and news triggers
• Find key decision makers and present the organisation's differentiators and capabilities
• Build outreach messaging campaigns with follow up and marketing collateral
• Report sales activity weekly, monthly and quarterly and record it in Salesforce

What they look for

• Degree in life science, healthcare or business
• At least two years of relevant experience, ideally in a CRO or pharma setting
• Clear understanding of clinical trial processes
• Basic knowledge of GxP, GDPR or HIPAA, CFR, CTR, CTD and local regulations
• Prior Salesforce experience
• Strong prospecting and new business identification skills with a consultative approach
