Account Executive

About the role

The role owns a remote sales territory and drives revenue by managing deals from first contact to close. The hire works in house with a client company.

What you will do

• Run the whole sales cycle, from discovery and product demos through negotiation to closing
• Keep a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities so quotas are consistently met
• Explain the value of solutions to stakeholders and decision makers
• Work with internal teams so handover from sales to customer success is smooth
• Keep CRM records and forecasts accurate to give visibility into activity

What they look for

• Three or more years in a closing role such as account executive or similar
• A record of hitting or beating sales targets and quotas
• Strong negotiation ability and comfort handling complex objections
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative selling approach
• Self direction and good time management in a fully remote setting

Nice to have

• Experience selling SaaS or technical solutions
• Familiarity with modern sales technology stacks and CRM platforms
