About the role

A field sales role focused on winning new business and growing existing accounts among PreK to 12 schools and districts in a defined regional territory. The person promotes literacy software, educator training and implementation services.

What you will do

• Build and carry out a territory plan timed to school calendars, funding cycles and district goals to hit quota
• Grow current accounts through upsell and cross-sell, working with customer success on adoption and renewals
• Present in person and online to district leaders, explaining the pedagogy, research basis and measurable results
• Cultivate ties with superintendents, curriculum and technology leaders and procurement staff
• Write tailored proposals and strategic communications matched to district goals and funding sources
• Keep Salesforce records accurate, manage pipeline health and give leadership reliable forecasts

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
• Strong familiarity with the posted geographic territory and existing K to 12 contacts
• Ability to uncover client needs, propose fitting solutions and close complex deals

Nice to have

• Experience with a literacy or reading product
• Deep knowledge of the K to 12 landscape, funding cycles and decision making structures
