Talent and People Manager

About the role

The role covers day to day people operations and full ownership of recruitment, from finding candidates to settling new joiners in. The aim is to keep processes reliable and make the company a great place to work as it expands.

What you will do

• Handle hiring from writing job descriptions and sourcing through interviews to offers and onboarding
• Deliver a thorough onboarding and check in so new starters settle well
• Process payroll across three systems and manage benefits, leave and contract renewals
• Draft employment and consultancy contracts and offer letters, keeping practices legally compliant
• Maintain people policies and the handbook, and support home working health and safety
• Audit people processes and systems, then recommend and roll out improvements

What they look for

• Hands on experience in people operations and talent at a company of 45 or more, including scaling processes
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law, compliance and good people practice
