A field sales role representing an eye care product line to healthcare professionals in an assigned territory, with responsibility for business planning and meeting activity and revenue targets.
What you will do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted healthcare providers
- Share approved educational messages and disease state information with clinicians
- Plan and execute territory business strategy to meet goals
- Help providers recognize treatment gaps and discuss therapies with patients
- Meet call activity, adherence and financial targets for the territory
What they look for
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in a scientific discipline
- At least two years of pharmaceutical sales experience or comparable work
- Two or more years in specialty pharma, ideally in the relevant therapy area
- Understanding of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care
- Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight stays
Nice to have
- Prior experience selling within healthcare institutions
- Eye care or ophthalmology background
