Accounting Specialist

About the role

A remote finance role covering receivables, payables, sales commission calculations and reconciliations, reporting to the operations manager and working alongside finance and sales teams.

What you will do

• Issue customer invoices, track balances and chase overdue payments
• Process vendor invoices, keep vendor records and settle billing discrepancies
• Compute sales commissions from compensation plans and check them against sales data
• Carry out daily and monthly reconciliations and support month-end closing
• Build financial and operational reports and keep records consistent across systems

What they look for

• Two or more years in accounting, receivables, payables or a comparable position
• Working knowledge of core accounting principles and financial reconciliation
• Mandatory hands-on Salesforce experience for sales data, reporting and commission work
• Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Analytical and numerical ability with careful attention to detail and independent remote work
