Actuarial Analyst

About the role

Join a pricing team to build assumptions, submit bids and file premium rates with regulators. The analyst also advises product teams on cost effects and keeps pricing tools up to date.

What you will do

• Develop pricing assumptions, prepare bids and file rates and certifications with regulators
• Support rollout of new rates, plans and benefit changes
• Build and maintain tools for pricing standard and custom benefits
• Set market financial metrics, review results and recommend pricing actions
• Research competitors and work with sales partners on growth strategies
• Attest that rate filings comply with state and federal rules

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree
• At least one actuarial exam passed
• Clear communication in writing and speech
• Commitment to continuous improvement and process automation
• Ability to adapt to change

Nice to have

• Internship experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn tools such as SQL, VBA or PowerPlatform

Pay

USD 66,800 to 91,100 per year
