What you will do
- Issue requests for quotations and proposals and analyze supplier pricing
- Evaluate supplier quality, reliability and ability to meet delivery schedules with the quality organization
- Work with internal customers to confirm specifications suit the required services or products
- Negotiate to cut cost, improve efficiency and manage risk
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with law and company policy including import and export rules
- Review and approve supplier payments and pass documentation to logistics and warehouse teams

- Bachelor's degree, or a high school diploma or GED with four years of related experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Office for spreadsheets, documents and presentations
- Ability to collaborate with program management and multi-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and keep a Secret security clearance
Nice to have
- Experience with aircraft maintenance under US government prime contracts, including spares procurement
- Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
- Knowledge of CPSR and government audits
- Import and export (ITAR) experience
