A leadership role in a Japanese services practice serving Japanese corporate clients in North America. The manager oversees audit engagements and coordinates between local and international teams.
What you will do
- Plan and lead audit engagements for US subsidiaries of Japanese parent companies
- Serve as main liaison among US management, Japanese executives and multicultural staff
- Manage engagement economics, timelines, budgets and staff allocation
- Support business development and networking with Japanese business leaders
What they look for
- Professional fluency in written and spoken Japanese and English
- Five or more years of public accounting audit experience
- Prior experience at a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA license strongly preferred or active eligibility
- Onsite or hybrid availability in the Troy, Michigan area with US work authorization
