Support a cardiology practice as a virtual medical assistant, handling patient calls, insurance checks and diagnostic result communication with empathy and professionalism.
What you will do
- Manage a high volume of inbound patient calls through the eClinicalWorks phone system and route them correctly
- Verify insurance eligibility before appointments are scheduled
- Coordinate and process urgent or stat patient appointments quickly
- Share test results and stat diagnostic reports with patients through TigerConnect
- Give patients empathetic, professional support with patience and clinical etiquette
What they look for
- Active hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks in a US healthcare setting
- Practical experience using TigerConnect for clinical and patient communication
- Prior administrative or medical assistant work in a cardiology practice
- Strong emotional intelligence, empathy and a calm phone manner with cardiac patients
- Fluent bilingual communication
