Biomedical Equipment Technician II

About the role

An overnight shift technician who diagnoses, repairs and maintains increasingly complex customer biomedical equipment while building strong customer relationships.

What you will do

• Assess complex equipment faults and carry out the right repairs
• Run planned maintenance plus safety and environmental inspections
• Communicate daily with customers to confirm issues are resolved and followed up
• Guide and assist other technicians on basic and complex repairs
• Document every repair action and submit reports on schedule
• Share on-call and pager duties and look after spare parts, tools and test equipment

What they look for

• Engineering degree in electrical, biomedical or mechanical fields plus at least two years servicing medical equipment, or equivalent militar
• Analytical ability and clear communication, including explaining technical matters simply to customers
• Able to lift and move up to 35 lbs unaided and to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
• Good hand dexterity, reach in all directions and full color and depth vision
