Business Development Executive

About the role

You will support growth in the German market by finding new business opportunities and building a sales pipeline. The role is heavily outbound and involves researching prospects, cold outreach and booking meetings for a business development manager.

What you will do

• Research potential customers and identify relevant decision-makers in the German market
• Use sales intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha and Lead Forensics to find prospects
• Qualify prospects, uncover initial needs and arrange discovery calls for the business development manager
• Keep accurate records of sales activity in the CRM and follow up with prospects and dormant opportunities
• Support inbound lead qualification during holidays or absences in the German sales team

• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• Confidence speaking with people by phone, email and LinkedIn
• Proactive, self-motivated approach with strong organisation and attention to detail
• Resilience, determination and a positive attitude

Nice to have

• Call centre, telesales or other customer-facing experience
• Experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting
• Experience working toward sales KPIs, targets or activity metrics
