Business Development Manager (Hydraulics)

About the role

Lead strategy and operations to grow the hydraulic business, generating new business and building high value customer relationships. The role pairs direct sales with application engineering support and close cross functional work.

What you will do

• Drive hydraulic business growth through strategy, operations and new business generation
• Lead direct sales with value based solutions backed by application engineering
• Track market trends and customer needs, turning them into growth strategies
• Visit major OEMs and customers regularly on site
• Support the sales organization with leads, tools, training and market intelligence

What they look for

• Engineering degree, preferably chemical or mechanical, or equivalent practical experience
• Three or more years with hydraulic systems under high load and high pressure
• Five or more years in business development, sales or marketing in chemicals or lubrication
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
• Willingness to travel 25 to 40 percent within North America
