Virtual Account Manager

About the role

The role drives vehicle sales to corporate fleet customers across an assigned UK territory, initially concentrating on new business. The person will represent one of two ambitious automotive brands and help grow their presence in the UK fleet market.

What you will do

• Win new corporate fleet business and build a strong sales pipeline
• Grow the customer order bank through strong relationships with key contacts
• Position the assigned brand and its products to end user decision makers
• Create and manage end user terms and set up demo programmes
• Partner closely with retailers, leasing companies and the wider brand sales teams
• Keep customer and prospect data accurate in the CRM as the single source of truth

• Proven account management experience with strong relationship building
• Excellent communication, listening and influencing skills
• Strong sales, negotiation and closing skills with a record of hitting targets
• Experience prospecting and generating your own leads
• Results-driven approach with strong attention to detail on figures and contracts
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Nice to have

• Experience in fleet sales, leasing or the wider automotive sector
• Background in B2B sales
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and sales enablement tools
