A dual role combining records collection with day to day help for case managers at a personal injury practice. The aim is to keep pre-litigation files complete and ready for demand.

What you will do

• Request and gather medical records, bills, police reports, photos and insurance paperwork to complete files
• Chase outstanding items with hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, employers and agencies
• Upload and label case documents accurately in Litify so files stay easy to navigate
• Track treatment, client, provider and insurance details and keep them current
• Spot documentation gaps and follow up until records and bills are finished
• Route incoming mail, faxes and electronic documents to the right files and colleagues

What they look for

• Prior work at a US personal injury firm, including retrieving medical records and bills
• Familiarity with treatment tracking, records collection and pre-litigation demand prep
• Strong written and spoken English for contact with clients, providers and insurers
• Solid organization and follow-through across many cases and deadlines with little supervision
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, plus Litify or a similar case management system
• Full-time availability 8:30 to 5:00 Pacific, with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace

Nice to have

• Hands-on Litify use for organizing documents and tracking requests
• Experience requesting HIPAA authorizations and updating treatment records
• Coordinating with several medical providers and handling high volumes
