Content Marketing Team Manager

About the role

Lead the content side of an inbound marketing engine, managing a team of copywriters and owning editorial quality and pipeline results. The content must perform in both classic search and AI answer engines.

What you will do

• Manage, coach and develop a group of six copywriters, including reviews, feedback and hiring
• Set and enforce standards for output, quality and ownership across the team
• Own the editorial standard covering accuracy, depth, voice, structure and product truth
• Edit and review content before publication and build the team's independent skill over time
• Work with SEO specialists on keywords, topic clusters, briefs and refreshes
• Coordinate with web, technical SEO, design, product marketing and sales on publishing and buying journey

What they look for

• Experience leading or coaching a content or copywriting team
• Strong editorial judgement and hands-on editing skills
• Working knowledge of keyword strategy, topic clusters and content briefs
• Understanding of structuring content for search engines and AI answer engines
• Ability to use AI tools in content workflows without lowering quality
• Comfort with planning and evaluating work against OKRs
