Country Manager Benin

About the role

A country leadership role in Benin, guiding a team that recruits small and medium enterprises into development programmes while building partnerships, securing funding and strengthening local business ecosystems.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver the country impact plan in line with the organisation's mission and strategy
• Build partnerships with entrepreneurs, business organisations and other enabling bodies
• Identify and secure funding from institutional donors, foundations and corporate partners
• Lead, coach and manage the country representative team, including country team meetings
• Qualify new clients against criteria covering diversity, inclusion and green and social goals
• Approve project proposals and work with programme managers to align goals and projects
