Manager, Regulatory and Filing Operations

About the role

A remote management role overseeing filing submissions, regulatory interpretation and member materials, ensuring quality outputs and acting as the main contact for health plans and state insurance departments.

What you will do

• Lead the team in reviewing, interpreting and summarising current, proposed and enacted legislation and regulatory updates
• Coordinate regulatory and filing projects with internal and cross functional partners, including CMS and state submissions
• Run quality assurance audits on research, filings, member documents and communications
• Oversee the product benefit system used as the source of truth for plan templates and member documents
• Supervise staff, assess performance and support their growth and development
• Work with IT on system enhancements and fixes to the product benefit database

What they look for

• A bachelor degree, preferably in business, communications, healthcare or political science, or five or more years of regulatory experience
• Experience in commercial health insurance or another highly regulated industry
• Some supervisory or management experience
• Willingness to travel about 20 percent within the continental United States
• Authorisation to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Nice to have

• Pre law studies, a master degree or a JD

Pay

USD 87,700 to 157,800 per year
