Customer Support Specialist, Renewable Energy, Work from Home

About the role

A remote customer support role guiding customers through their solar and battery journey, covering service, troubleshooting, billing and account management.

What you will do

• Answer enquiries about solar systems, home batteries, installations and subscriptions across phone, email, SMS and chat
• Support customers before and after installation, including scheduling, paperwork and status updates
• Monitor customer systems via optimisation software and troubleshoot issues promptly
• Handle billing questions, payment plans, hardship cases and subscription verification
• Manage overdue accounts and collections within approved policies
• Log technical issues and warranty claims and coordinate with engineering and field teams

• Experience in customer service, technical support or a similar customer-facing role
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple channels
• Strong problem-solving and active listening skills
• Ability to learn technical information quickly

Nice to have

• Experience with billing, subscriptions, payments or financial hardship matters
• Experience logging technical issues and escalations in a CRM or ticketing system
• Basic knowledge of solar systems and home batteries
