Sales Engineer

About the role

A sales engineering role supporting healthcare organisations as they evaluate patient access and engagement software. The position combines technical discovery with product demonstrations during the sales cycle.

What you will do

• Run technical discovery with healthcare organisations to map their current workflows and pain points
• Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that show the value of the solutions
• Design customised solutions that fit the requirements of healthcare clients
• Advise the sales team on technical matters and on addressing customer needs
• Work with product development to integrate solutions with existing healthcare systems
• Coordinate with sales, marketing and product teams on go to market strategy

What they look for

• At least five years as a sales engineer in healthcare technology
• Deep knowledge of major EHR systems, including their integration architecture
• Experience with patient access and engagement workflows such as scheduling, intake and referrals
• Understanding of revenue cycle concepts such as eligibility checks, prior authorisation and billing
• Ability to explain API and integration topics like HL7, FHIR and webhooks to varied audiences
• Experience answering RFPs and RFIs without support

Nice to have

• Prior work in a startup or high growth SaaS setting
• Familiarity with AI voice and messaging products, workflow automation and patient engagement platforms
