Cyber Claims Specialist

About the role

A remote claims role handling first-party cyber claims from first notice to resolution, with structured onboarding and mentorship leading from supervised files to independent handling.

What you will do

• Handle a growing portfolio of mainly primary first-party cyber claims with increasing independence.
• Assess coverage questions and write clear, well-reasoned coverage letters and correspondence.
• Work with customers and brokers to reach the best claim outcomes.
• Coordinate with external counsel and vendors such as forensic and incident response firms.
• Support claim administration and accurate data alongside the operations team.
• Share claims insights with actuarial, finance and risk management colleagues and help explain claim trends.

• Willingness to obtain required adjuster licenses with company support.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills, plus a university degree or equivalent.

Nice to have

• A legal background such as a J.D. or paralegal experience, or technical familiarity.
