About the role

The director leads business development strategy and keeps clients in an assigned territory or account set, working within the internal medicine and neuroscience team.

What you will do

Create strategic plans and sales strategies for the territory or accounts
Meet yearly sales targets and uncover new business opportunities
Lead proposal work and respond to information and proposal requests
Negotiate budgets and contracts once work is awarded
Develop account strategies and expand relationships within accounts
Log activity and client contacts in the CRM system

What they look for

A bachelor degree or highly relevant industry experience
Five or more years in clinical research or sales
Over three years of sales experience with strong negotiation and analytical skills
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Good knowledge of the CRO business and Microsoft Office
Awareness of trends and regulations in clinical trials
