Director, Financial Reporting & Internal Controls

About the role

Leads consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, statutory audits and the internal control environment, while managing and developing a small finance team.

What you will do

• Prepare quarterly and yearly group financial statements and disclosures under IFRS
• Run the group audit as main contact for external auditors, including fee discussions
• Assess and document complex transactions such as revenue, leases, pensions and business combinations
• Oversee statutory statements, audits and filings across several jurisdictions
• Monitor the internal control environment, spot gaps and support fixes
• Coach a small team, set priorities and review work

What they look for

• Holds a recognized professional accounting qualification
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and consolidated reporting
• Experience leading audits and working with external auditors
• Track record assessing complex or non-routine accounting matters
• Able to manage statutory reporting across multiple countries
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
