Division Sales Manager, Hematology

About the role

Lead a team of hematology sales representatives across a tristate territory, building and executing strategic and tactical plans to meet and exceed sales goals while reporting to a regional sales director.

What you will do

• Create strategic and tactical plans and carry them out to surpass division sales targets
• Recruit, hire, retain and lead a team of hematology sales representatives
• Plan and allocate resources and manage overall performance of the sales team
• Work with targeted accounts and solid tumor teams to coordinate commercial efforts
• Coach the team through training on communication, analytics and customer service
• Represent the hematology and oncology market as a content expert

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree with prior pharmaceutical sales management experience preferred
• Ten or more years in pharmaceutical sales and sales management, with substantial hematology background
• Proven record of success in a management role
• Experience in specialty sales and grasp of reimbursement, distribution and managed care
• Familiarity with CRM software and ability to measure ROI and KPIs
• Results oriented, resilient, self-managing and skilled at building trusted advisor relationships

Nice to have

• Master's degree in organizational development, organization leadership or an MBA
• Ten years of hematology and oncology experience
