ERP Finance Consultant / Project Manager

About the role

A consulting and project management role leading finance system rollouts for mid-sized clients, linking their accounting processes to technical design. The consultant guides clients from architecture and data migration through go-live and ongoing optimisation.

What you will do

• Lead full lifecycle ERP finance implementations and optimisation projects.
• Assess accounting processes, gather requirements and design improved workflows.
• Draft functional specifications with clients and development teams.
• Configure finance modules such as general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets and cost accounting in Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV.
• Run client workshops and training, and support presales scoping and estimates.

What they look for

• At least five years of ERP finance consulting or project work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Deep knowledge of corporate finance and accounting, including GL, AP, AR, fixed assets and cost accounting.
• German at C1 or above, with strong written and spoken skills.
• Organised project leadership, client focus and proactive problem solving.
• Willingness to travel around 30% in the DACH region and attend two office days monthly.

Nice to have

• Exposure to controlling processes, Power BI reporting or other ERP systems.
• Prior work developing or refining standardised finance software modules.

Pay

EUR 50,000 to 85,000 per year
