Field Sales Executive, Legal and Regulatory Software (Western United States)

About the role

Sell cloud based software and services for retirement plan work across a defined territory in the western United States. The role combines prospecting, relationship building and close teamwork with an assigned account manager.

What you will do

• Sell cloud based software products and services within an assigned set of states
• Prospect and grow business among both existing and new accounts
• Build ties with key players in the major metro markets of the territory
• Attend customer and prospect meetings in person when needed
• Keep CRM records current, covering activities, demos and pipeline
• Represent the company at national and local industry trade shows

What they look for

• A college degree or comparable experience
• Three or more years of sales experience with a record of beating quota
• Strong organisation, planning and presentation abilities
• Good time management and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
• Ability to explain value to both technical and non technical audiences
• Comfort using CRM software and working with people at every level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of and experience in the retirement industry
• Prior work with Salesforce
• Prior work with Outreach.io
• Earlier account management experience with a cloud based or SaaS product
