Finance Executive Director

About the role

Leads the whole finance function for a growing education brand, building scalable systems and guiding strategy as the company expands. The role pairs hands-on financial control with cross-functional partnership.

What you will do

• Own the full finance function, covering cash flow, profitability and financial strategy
• Deliver accurate, audit-ready monthly financials with full reconciliation
• Maintain a rolling twelve-month cash forecast refreshed each week
• Run annual budgeting and forecasting across all departments
• Automate reporting workflows and document standard finance procedures
• Partner with product, sales and operations on growth, cash and inventory planning

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Five or more years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with three in leadership
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling success
• Experience introducing scalable systems and automation in a growing organization
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, compliance and tax standards
• Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks or advanced Excel or Google Sheets
