About the role

A fully remote attorney role representing policyholders in bad faith disputes over long-term care and life insurance claims against large carriers.

What you will do

Build case strategy suited to the facts and legal issues of each matter
Carry cases through discovery, motions, negotiation and litigation
Analyze policies, claim files, and medical and financial records
Research law and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery
Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings and mediations

What they look for

An active California Bar license in good standing
At least one year of long-term care insurance litigation experience
At least one year of life insurance litigation experience
At least one year of insurance bad faith litigation experience
Strong research, writing, analytical and litigation skills
Solid communication and case management abilities
