A second-level support role handling complex technical issues and keeping infrastructure reliable for a US organisation. The work is fully remote and covers systems, networking and cloud services.
What you will do
- Resolve hardware, software, system and network problems at second level
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
- Install, configure and update software remotely and carry out maintenance
- Handle network connectivity, IP addressing and local network administration
- Track, prioritize and close support tickets, and keep technical documentation current
What they look for
- Mid to senior experience in technical support, help desk or systems administration
- Advanced troubleshooting across Windows, macOS and Linux
- Experience running Windows Server and Linux servers including Debian and Proxmox
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network troubleshooting
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs and security tools such as pfSense, UniFi and OPNsense
- Scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash at a basic to intermediate level
