What you will do
- Collect the documentation needed to submit loan files for processing and underwriting
- Obtain initial closing disclosure signatures so closings happen on time
- Manage a pipeline of roughly 30 loan closings each month
- Complete Patriot Act checks using customer identification
- Confirm minimum submission requirements and documents before files go to processing
- Handle borrower requests and support other team members as needed

- At least one year of experience in mortgage operations or processing
- An active NMLS license, or the ability to obtain one within the first 90 days
- Hands-on experience with a loan origination system, Blend or Google Suite
- Knowledge of TRID rules for issuing initial disclosures and revised loan estimates
- Comfort working autonomously in a fast-paced, tech-enabled startup setting
- Strong written and verbal communication and a collaborative attitude
