Manager, Global Payroll

About the role

The role leads payroll processing for several European countries within a global payroll function. It partners with people, legal, tax and finance teams and external providers to keep pay accurate and compliant.

What you will do

• Run payroll for the United Kingdom and Spain, with more EU countries added as the company grows
• Coordinate with people platform, benefits, legal and finance teams on payroll matters such as joiners, leavers, bonuses and cash
• Handle RSU and ESPP earnings and their taxation
• Process garnishments and levies and support payroll audit and compliance work
• Support month-end closing and the annual financial statement audit for payroll accounts
• Complete year-end reporting and answer employee questions about pay and benefits

What they look for

• Ten to fifteen years of international payroll experience, focused on EMEA countries
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent training beyond high school
• Strong math, analytical, research and problem-solving abilities
• Solid grasp of systems and data flows, with willingness to learn new processes and software
• Self-motivated and deadline-oriented, able to work with limited supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication
