Medical Receptionist, Primary Care

About the role

A remote receptionist is needed to support patient calls, scheduling and chart work across three primary care offices. The role suits someone experienced in medical front desk or virtual assistant work.

What you will do

• Schedule, reschedule and coordinate patient appointments following office protocols
• Navigate the EHR to review charts, appointment history and messages
• Document patient interactions, messages and scheduling updates accurately
• Route refill inquiries and clinical concerns to the right provider or team member
• Escalate urgent, unclear or sensitive matters to providers or managers

What they look for

• Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting, such as medical reception or front desk
• Confidence speaking with patients, including elderly callers
• Ability to navigate patient charts and EHR workflows
• Clear communication and adherence to established office protocols
• Critical thinking in a fast-paced primary care environment

Pay

USD 5 to 6 per hour
