A remote assistant role supporting a multi site primary care practice, relaying provider reviewed lab and imaging results to patients, arranging follow-up and keeping records accurate.
What you will do
- Call patients to share provider reviewed lab and imaging results and instructions
- Explain next administrative steps based on what the provider documented
- Book follow-up visits and help coordinate testing, referrals and repeat labs
- Record every patient interaction accurately in the EHR system
- Escalate clinical questions and unclear instructions to providers
- Support clinical administrative workflows and keep communication professional by phone
What they look for
- A strong Medical Assistant background with clinical understanding
- Confidence speaking directly with patients, including elderly people
- Clear, patient and accurate phone communication
- Skill with EHR documentation and confidentiality standards
- Ability to follow provider instructions without interpreting results
- Availability Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern Time
Pay
USD 5 to 6 per hour
