Medical Virtual Assistant, Lab Results and Patient Coordination

About the role

A remote assistant role supporting a multi site primary care practice with lab and imaging follow up, patient communication, scheduling and record keeping. Providers handle all clinical interpretation.

What you will do

• Call patients to relay provider reviewed lab and imaging results and instructions
• Help patients understand the next administrative steps and book follow up visits
• Coordinate extra testing, referrals, repeat labs and imaging as directed
• Record every patient interaction accurately in the electronic health record
• Escalate clinical questions and unclear instructions to providers
• Support clinical administrative workflows and keep documentation complete

What they look for

• A strong medical assistant background with clinical understanding
• Excellent communication and confidence speaking directly with patients
• Ability to follow documented provider instructions and spot when follow up is needed
• Accuracy in charting and respect for confidentiality standards
• Familiarity with AdvancedMD and phone systems such as Ooma
• Availability during Eastern Time business hours, Monday to Friday

Pay

USD 5 to 6 per hour
