What you will do

  • Triage failed, missed and warning backup jobs each day across Veeam servers, agents and cloud copies.
  • Work the NinjaOne condition-alert queue to zero, fixing causes so devices stop re-alerting.
  • Clear failed Windows and third-party patches, then verify vulnerability findings are gone.

What they look for

  • Three or more years in an MSP or IT operations role.
  • Hands-on Veeam B&R with jobs, repositories, backup copy, agents and SureBackup.
  • Daily RMM alert work, ideally NinjaOne, covering AV health, disk space, services and offline devices.
  • Windows patch troubleshooting with DISM/SFC, WSUS and Windows Update logs.
  • Windows Server, Hyper-V or VMware, NAS and iSCSI storage, and basic networking.
  • Clear writing for tickets and client reports, plus careful handling of credentials.

Nice to have

  • VMCE or VSPC certification.

A typical week

  • Check overnight jobs early, then triage backup warnings and failures.
  • Remote into servers and workstations to fix storage, repository, network or licensing problems.
  • Run restore tests and write up the evidence.
  • Tune alert thresholds and work patch and vulnerability items.
  • Close Halo tickets and produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
