Nuclear Pre-Service / In-Service Inspection Program Owner

About the role

In this new-build phase the work centres on defining component, weld and system inspection requirements so they land in design deliverables, specifications, procurement packages and modular construction plans. The role is the technical authority interfacing with design teams, suppliers, authorised inspectors and regulators.

What you will do

• Define the global pre-service and in-service inspection strategy against ASME Section III/XI, CSA N285 and PED/EN.
• Turn regulatory obligations into auditable inspection requirements for nuclear and non-safety pressure boundaries.
• Work with design and systems engineers so components and welds stay accessible for manufacturing and long-term inspection.
• Review vendor documentation such as inspection and test plans, material traceability and manufacturing data records.

What they look for

• Degree in mechanical, nuclear, materials or welding engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years in nuclear engineering, pressure boundary design, integrity or inspection programs.
• Experience with ASME Section III/XI, CSA N285 or equivalent standards.

Nice to have

• Experience on advanced reactor or new-build projects with modular construction.
• Work with nuclear regulators, authorised inspectors or pressure equipment authorities in the US, Canada or Europe.
