Partnership Account Manager

About the role

A home-based account management role covering the Yorkshire region, responsible for a portfolio of public sector contracts and for growing existing customer relationships. The position combines customer service, contract compliance and commercial development.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of public sector contracts across the region, safeguarding service quality, compliance and retention
• Build trusted relationships with customer contacts from operational staff up to directors
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts to deliver profitable results
• Work with commercial, supply chain, operations, finance and IT colleagues to shape customer solutions
• Ensure contracts meet agreed terms, KPIs and service levels while driving efficiency and value
• Support tender and re-tender work and prepare customers for contract renewals

• Track record of retaining customers, growing sales and improving margins
• Strong relationship building and the ability to influence stakeholders at every level
• Commercial and financial awareness, able to turn analysis into profitable outcomes
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Strong organisation and the ability to juggle competing priorities
