Platform Engineer, AI/ML Infrastructure

About the role

Build and run infrastructure for AI platforms that enterprises and governments own outright, spanning Kubernetes clusters, platform services, delivery pipelines and cloud operations. Much of it must work where normal cloud resources or connectivity cannot be assumed.

What you will do

• Build and operate Kubernetes-based infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, including GPU scheduling and tenant isolation
• Develop platform services such as workflow orchestration, data ingest, model serving, policy enforcement and audit logging
• Create a reliable delivery path to production that can prove what was shipped
• Tie together cloud infrastructure and operational practices that keep distributed systems resilient
• Contribute upstream to open source projects the platform depends on

What they look for

• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production
• Familiarity with Terraform or OpenTofu, Argo and Prometheus
• Ability to work across infrastructure, platform services and delivery
• Comfort designing for portability, reproducibility and operability from the start
• U.S. citizenship, with eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Nice to have

• An active TS/SCI clearance, or a previously held TS/SCI with CI polygraph
• Current active TS or Secret clearance

Pay

USD 120,000 to 250,000 per year
