Program Manager, Military Family Respite Care

About the role

Lead a nationwide in-home respite care program for military families caring for members with special medical and educational needs. The role owns program performance and serves as the main contact for the federal customer.

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison with the government customer and answer official inquiries within one business day
• Own the quality control plan, including inspections, discrepancy correction, root cause and trend analysis, and feedback
• Oversee recruitment, credentialing and retention of providers across more than 60 installation markets
• Direct reporting at weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual intervals and run quarterly progress meetings
• Manage budgets, invoicing accuracy and travel authorizations, and lead phase-in while keeping service uninterrupted

What they look for

• Master's degree in a healthcare field plus at least 5 years of progressive management, or a bachelor's degree plus 10 years
• At least 5 years supporting military families or comparable populations
• Proven experience with case management and special needs programs
• Ability to pass federal background screening

Nice to have

• Experience managing a distributed workforce across multiple states
• Federal contract program management with performance-standard oversight
• Military spouse, veteran or military family background

Pay

USD 95,000 to 115,000 per year
