Project Manager II, Facilities Management

About the role

Represent the organization on design and construction projects such as new development, expansion, renovation and retrofitting. Coordinate and report on activities under the project controls requirements and administer consultant and construction agreements.

What you will do

• Coordinate, monitor and report on design and construction activities per the project controls manual
• Administer consultant and construction agreements
• Deliver small projects of light to moderate complexity on time and within budget
• Manage relationships with affiliated organizations on assigned projects
• Assess typical risks to scope, budget and schedule

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
• Two years of recent relevant experience
• Familiarity with the Last Planner System and Lean Construction, plus basic knowledge of Vplanner and Bluebeam
• Ability to estimate costs, schedule work and assess risks on small projects
• Knowledge of healthcare construction codes, space programming, jurisdictional approvals and contract implementation
• Awareness of state and local building approval processes and relevant oversight bodies
