R&D Field Account Manager Strategic Accounts

About the role

A field based role engaging customer research and development sites to build trusted relationships, validate technologies early and create visibility of molecule and process programs.

What you will do

• Build lasting relationships with scientific and managerial stakeholders at strategic account R&D sites
• Track molecule pipelines, program status and decision points from discovery through development
• Identify early technology seeding opportunities and align technical experts to support validation
• Drive process and product trials with customers, documenting outcomes and readiness signals
• Support pilot and clinical phase trials through scale up and scale down validation and process optimisation
• Monitor new processes and transfers within the account and hand validated programs to commercial teams

What they look for

• A master's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, biochemical engineering or a comparable field
• Three or more years in customer facing biopharma roles with exposure to R&D settings
• Ability to work credibly in highly scientific environments and turn early needs into validation paths
• Confident communication and influence with senior decision makers
• Strong stakeholder management across customer and internal matrix teams
• Proficiency with CRM systems and disciplined documentation

Nice to have

• Industry experience in bioprocessing, upstream or downstream process, purification or filtration
